KITT is our service for self-hosted company AI in the EU. Your team works in the browser with a dedicated chat interface. Selected models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google can be connected through EU-hosted model services. thirdmind sets up KITT, introduces your team and can run it for you. Alternatively, your IT team runs the application in your EU infrastructure.1

Everyone gets their own account and works in the browser, on a computer or a phone. Nobody has to install anything.

GPT from OpenAI, Claude from Anthropic or Gemini from Google can be connected through suitable EU model services. You and your IT team decide which models and regions are approved.

We keep KITT up to date and back up the data regularly.

The bill does not go up when more people join. It only goes up for more usage if you agree.
One-off
The basic setup costs a one-off €2,400 excluding VAT. Your offer sets out the setup and team introduction included. If you want to connect Microsoft 365 or other systems, we review this together and offer a separate integration package.
Operation and handover
Self-hosted. Run by us or your IT team.
Self-hosted means KITT runs as a separate application in EU infrastructure. You do not have to run it yourself. You choose who manages the environment.
Your IT team or another service provider can also take over later. We agree the documentation, access and technical requirements for this with you. The software and AI models remain subject to their respective licences.

The comparison
When does KITT fit instead of ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot?
A business subscription to ChatGPT, Claude or Microsoft 365 Copilot may already cover your needs. KITT is an option if you want shared company access to AI, with agreed setup, team introduction and ongoing support from thirdmind. The right choice depends on your tasks, usage and IT arrangements.

Which features would you miss?
KITT gives you access to AI models rather than the full ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot apps. Connecting a model does not automatically include the app’s additional research, project or work features. Microsoft 365 Copilot can work directly in Word, Excel and Outlook; this is not included in KITT chat. In the first conversation, we review the features your team actually needs.
A software subscription is a better fit if …

How do OpenAI, Anthropic and Google work through EU hosting?
Models from US providers can also be used through services that process requests in the EU. A provider’s headquarters and the processing location of a request are different things.
KITT itself runs as a separate application in your EU environment. The connected AI models generate answers through the agreed EU model service. This does not mean the models run on KITT’s server in Frankfurt. We agree the available models, services and EU regions for your setup.
For IT and compliance approval, we document model connections, data flows and responsibility for operation. This also covers retention periods, backups, technical logs and support access. We agree the data flows for web search, images, audio and other additional services separately.
No use for model training does not mean a provider stores no content. We review retention periods and possible access separately.

From the first conversation to a working assistant.
After you place the order, the basic setup usually takes one to two weeks. Connections to other systems may take longer.
First conversation, 30 minutes
We clarify your tasks, the number of accounts, existing AI subscriptions and your IT and data protection requirements. The conversation is without obligation or follow-up costs.
Offer and order
You receive an offer covering setup, team introduction, ongoing costs and any additional services. We agree the operating model and approved AI models in advance. We only begin the paid setup after you place the order.
Set up, test and introduce
We set up the environment and accounts and document the data flows. Your responsible team members approve the configuration before it goes live. We test KITT together and show the first teams how to use it and check its answers.
Run KITT and build on it
When thirdmind runs KITT, we provide the agreed updates, backups and support. You discuss new connections or extra usage with your contact person and approve them separately.

What comes next
When a chat is no longer enough.
Some requests go beyond a chat. For example, that KITT knows your price lists, product data or manuals. Or that recurring work such as entering orders or delivery notes gets faster. We build these as separate projects on the same foundation. They are not included in the monthly price.

What is KITT, and what does the name mean?
KITT is our service name for self-hosted company AI in the EU. Your team uses a dedicated chat interface. Selected models such as GPT, Claude and Gemini can be connected through EU-hosted model services. thirdmind sets up the environment and can run it for you; your IT team can also take over operation.
Why choose KITT if we already use ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot?
If your business subscription already covers your tasks well and support is in place, it may still be the right fit. KITT is an option for shared company access with a defined usage allowance, agreed onboarding and operation by thirdmind. We review with you which features you need and which of them KITT covers.
Can we use GPT, Claude and Gemini through EU hosting?
Yes. Selected models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google can be connected through model services that process requests in the EU. We agree the models, services and EU regions for your setup. KITT runs as a separate application in the EU; the models generate answers through the agreed EU model service. We document these data flows for IT and compliance. Additional services such as web search or audio are agreed separately.
Does every person need their own subscription?
No. Our supported monthly plans cover up to 300 company accounts. You do not need separate contracts with OpenAI, Google or Anthropic for these plans. If you operate KITT in your own infrastructure, you pay the infrastructure and AI providers directly.
Do we need our own IT department?
No. You need one person responsible for access and rules at your company. This can also be your IT service provider. In our supported monthly plans, thirdmind takes care of operation, updates and backups. If you choose to run KITT yourself, your IT team or service provider handles these tasks.
Do our employees have to install anything?
No. KITT runs in the browser, on a computer and on a phone.
Can our employees sign in with their Microsoft account?
We set this up as an integration. We look at your environment and put together a separate integration package. Without an integration, everyone gets their own account, managed by your administration.
Is our input used to train the AI models?
No. We connect the AI models via the providers' business access. Your input is not used there to train the models.
Is this GDPR-compliant?
That depends on which data you process and which models you approve. We conclude a data processing agreement with you and document the data flows so that your data protection officer can review everything. This does not replace legal advice.
What happens if the plan is not enough?
You receive a notice in good time and decide for yourself whether to approve more usage. Without your consent, the bill does not go up.
How much does the setup cost?
The basic setup costs a one-off €2,400 excluding VAT. If Microsoft 365 or other systems need to be connected, we look at this together and make you a separate offer.
How long are we tied in?
Not at all. There is no minimum term, and you can cancel at any time.
We have our own IT. Can we operate KITT ourselves?
Yes. We set up KITT on your servers in the EU or in your EU cloud and document the handover. You then pay for infrastructure and AI providers directly. We offer setup, team introduction and optional support separately. If thirdmind runs KITT for you, you do not need your own IT department.
Can we switch service provider later?
Yes. The software KITT runs on is a publicly developed project and does not belong to us. Your IT team or another service provider can take over operation. We agree the handover with you.
